11MOD Open Hungarian Championship 2010 and JETFLOAT Grand Prize 2010

The objective of the race: winning the 11MOD Hungarian Champion Award 2010 and the JETFLOAT Grand Prize 2010
Place and time of the race: Balatonalmádi, Hungary, 22nd - 25th July 2010

Race regulations: ISAF 2009-2012 race regulations which are valid with the race instructions and regulations of the Hungarian Sailing Board (HSB) (Magyar Vitorlás Szövetség).

Registration fee: HSB members (MVSZ) 9000 HUF / person, participants born after the 1st of January 1992: 4500 HUF / person
International participants: 200 € / boat

Programme of the race:
22nd of July: 10:30: Opening ceremony
12:00: First round, further rounds
23rd – 25th of July: further rounds.
The race consists of 9 rounds with a maximum of 3 rounds/ day.
The area of the race: Within the quadrilateral Balatonalmádi, Balatonfûzfõ, Balatonkenese, and Siófok, the up and down field is created according to the wind conditions. The actual drawing of the field will be displayed at the notice board.
Field signage: yellow inflatable plastic signing-buoy
Start and Finish signing-buoy: signage with flags of vivid colours
Official boats: the boats helping the organization of the race will have orange flags
Evaluation: it is based on the rules stated in the four points of the appendices of the race regulations and follows the rules of ‘the least points system’. In case of 5 rounds, the least successful round can be ignored, in case of 9 rounds, the 2 least successful rounds can be ignored. In case of the completion of 4 valid rounds, the Award of the Hungarian Open Championship is announced.
Remuneration: The first round winner wins the Laszlo Toth challenge trophy.
The overall winner of the race will win the Hungarian Republic 11MOD Championship Award 2010 and the challenge trophy offered by JETFLOAT International, which they can keep for a year. The first three boats are going to get trophy remuneration. The team members of the first three winner boats are going to be remunerated with medals.
Time of the remuneration ceremony: within 2 hours after finishing the last round
Insurance: every participating boat has to have a third-party insurance worth of 10 million HUF. During the race, the participating boats can be taken out of the water only in reasonable cases and with the permission of the organizing committee of the race.
Warrant: the organizer of the race and the organizing committee do not take any responsibility for personal injuries- suffered or caused, including the possibility of death- or any damage relating to one’s property, all which related to the participation at the race or happening during the race.
It is the personal responsibility of each participant to decide about their participation at the race or the continuation of the race.
